My stay at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and cozy, although a mini bar in the bedroom would have been convenient. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made my experience special. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, with beautiful surroundings. The dining experience was exceptional, offering a variety of delicious options. The facilities were great, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

My stay at the hotel was truly exceptional. The rooms had a fantastic view of the river and were exceptionally quiet, adding to a very relaxing experience. The staff provided spectacular service, using locally sourced ingredients to create amazing dishes. The location, though initially weak, blossomed into a beautiful setting with immaculate gardens and paths. Dining by the window overlooking the river and mountains was a great experience. The facilities were top-notch, offering a luxurious and comfortable stay.

I couldn't get enough of the gorgeous views from our room overlooking the gardens and the flowing river, even though it felt a bit over the top for my taste. The room itself was luxurious, complete with a huge bathtub and all the essentials, but those pillows were a letdown. Sadly, missing a kettle or minibar was a downside.

The hotel is like a fairytale castle nestled in a beautiful setting. Rooms in the 'old house' are beautifully decorated and make you truly feel like royalty. The restaurant and bar offer an amazing dining experience. Can't wait to come back; worth every penny!

My stay at the hotel was a mix of great experiences and a few disappointments. The rooms, superbly serviced by diligent Housekeeping Staff, were exceptionally clean and offered beautiful views of the wooded grounds and the fast-flowing river. However, the room I stayed in had some issues with a broken loo seat and steamed up windows. Despite that, the cozy atmosphere made the visit enjoyable.

I had an incredible stay at this castle hotel. The rooms were well insulated, surprisingly warm, and offered a magnificent view of the river. I absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms have been modernized and are sensational along the water, tastefully decorated with comfortable, intimate seating to play board games and relax in front of the wood stoves. They were beautifully decorated and comfortable. The service is the jewel in the crown, providing plenty of spaces to sit and read a paper or play scrabble or just sit and enjoy the big open log fires - truly a home from home. The staff truly took care of us so well, from making sure we were settled in our lovely rooms overlooking the stream below to preparing a beautiful fire in the drawing room for our after-dinner drinks. The location is exactly where we both enjoy most, being one of the most beautiful tranquil areas in all of Ireland. The dining experience was amazing, not only for the setting but the quality of the service, the variety of food, and the quiet, relaxed atmosphere where you were allowed to sit undisturbed for as long as you wished. Overall, a delightful stay with a few minor drawbacks.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of wonderful and not so great moments. The room with the riverfront views was small but the King size bed was lovely. The double doors opened out to the lake, but there was a public path, so privacy was lacking. The service was top-class in every way, and the staff went above and beyond to help us organize activities. The location was like heaven to walk around, with beautiful surroundings and close proximity to Clifden and Kylemore Abbey. The dining experience had its ups and downs, and the breakfast could improve. The facilities were decent overall.

The hotel provided us with an upgraded room that was quite large and had a beautiful view, which was perfect. The rooms look out onto the river and are of the highest standard. However, we noticed some issues like dirty glasses not being changed in the room.

I was enchanted by the captivating Riverview from my room, surrounded by serene beauty and tranquility. The cleanliness and comfort were outstanding, making my stay incredibly relaxing. However, the price could be a tad high for some.
